Lunar Roses

The authors of this blog, as members of a Multiple Personality system, spend much of our time with other human beings pretending to be and think what we aren’t and don’t, saying things we’re expected to say, and above all censoring any revealing mention of our own “outsider” point of view.

And yet, we are outside.

We are like everyone else, except that we aren’t. We’re a rose bush torn apart when it had scarcely begun, and some of the pieces rooted and grew where we fell. We are blossoms where there should be no blossoms — roses on the moon.
